A bit of an odd choice for a kids show, considering the lyrics. I'm sure most of them didn't understand what the song was about, they just liked the fun music.

I remember one of the Radio 1 DJs at the time saying, 'If this isn't a hit, I'll clean the steps of Broadcasting House with a toothbrust.' Can't remember how high this got in the UK charts (number 28 rings a bell!) so I don't know if that was high enough for the steps to be cleaned or not!:)
